I have always enjoyed motivational quotes. In fact, my FranklinCovey Planner
has quotes at the top of each page; sitting there ready for me to fan through
the pages to read or use without having to search through books or websites.

On almost every page of this website you will see quotes interjected at what I think are appropriate places. So, for your convenience, I have placed all the quotes together in a few pages. Actually, I think this my favorited part of the whole website.
Firefighters often find themselves in need of opening lines for when we give public fire safety talks or interviews on live television. I've found that when I say something profound - whether something original or from someone more notable or famous.

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are
born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our
presence automatically liberates others.
- Marianne Williamson
